STORY

The Cantina Bar Tales is a comedy centered around three friends telling stories of their romantic misadventures at their favorite watering hole, a place known as the Cantina Bar. Adding perspective to this is a fourth friend, an English grad student teaching an undergrad class on three newly discovered chapters from Geoffrey Chaucer's 14th century literary masterpiece The Canterbury Tales.

Our story is full of deep emotions, subtle nuance, sweeping allegories, and life lessons... but mostly it's just obscene humor you really should not let the kids hear.

NEWS

August 29, 2006

Our lack of recent news updates has been due to the fact that we've been a little busy shooting the movie, dealing with technical problems (LOTS of technical problems) and now editing.

The good news is that the film is in the can, it looks great, and the performances fromt he actors are just awesome.

We also now have an IMDb page.

Yeah, it's almost like we're a real film or something.

The shoot happened over 17 days from July 30 to August 17, only taking off the two Saturdays during that period.

We shot at numerous locations: Webster University, The Pepper Lounge, Nectar, Atomic Cowboy, Monarch, Bar Napoli, 3rd Degree Glass Factory, Luna, Bar Italia, Star Clipper Comics, and a handful of apartments and lobbies.
